Wednesday, February 29th, 2012 ∙ Day 182 ∙ Why do you think people are so addicted to Facebook/Tumblr?
I think that everyone is looking for some sort of outlet, and whether it’s knowing everything the second it happens or being able to vent anything at will, that’s what social networking gives. It’s not without its difficulties or side effects, but people are attached to the...

Why supporting Ron Paul is backwards
gop-circus:
Ron Paul is racist, or at the very least, allowed racist literature to be published under his name. But to me, this isn’t the worst part about Paul as a candidate - His stances on civil liberties and economic issues when it comes to state’s rights are scary. And his supporters who type in all caps and hail him as christ reborn are even worse because they believe that his ‘policy...

Sunday, February 26th, 2012 ∙ Day 179 ∙ How do you feel about discrimination?
God, some of these questions are so blatantly stupid, I can’t even handle them and I wonder why I continue this challenge. If you feel GOOD about discrimination (that is, the unfair treatment towards ANY individual or group of people for whatever reason) you’re probably a person I don’t like.

A text conversation with my father
Me: Hey, just wanted to let you know that a Rick Santorum brochure came in the mail. I took the liberty of ripping it into pieces and tossing it. I thought about setting it on fire, but I didn't want to waste precious lighter fluid. Love you!
Dad: You should have. C4 would have been nice.
Me: Probably.
Dad: Love you too, my little liberal.
